The session will explore screening pathways, laboratory approaches, quality considerations, and the impact of evolving technologies and policies on clinical practice.

Dr. Yvonne Daniel

Consultant Lead Scientist, Haematological Sciences

Specialist Red Cell Centre Synnovis Hub Site, Guys Hospital

Dr Yvonne Daniel is Specialist Lead Scientist in Haematological Sciences at Synnovis, London. With over 20 years’ experience in haemoglobinopathy screening and diagnosis, she is an internationally recognised expert in both protein- and molecular-based techniques. Yvonne also serves as a Scientific Advisor to the NHS Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Screening Programme and has supported screening implementation projects across Africa. She is actively involved in policy development, education, training, and research.

This 75-minute webinar is a great opportunity to learn from our international colleagues and apply their knowledge and experiences to your own practice.
